- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'fee46ebf823991d48dc262f6a6fe8376' = '"%APPDATA%\chrome.exe" ..'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\fee46ebf823991d48dc262f6a6fe8376.exe
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\chrome.exe' = '%APPDATA%\chrome.exe:*:Enabled:chrome.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\chrome.exe" "chrome.exe" ENABLE
- '%APPDATA%\chrome.exe'
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\chrome.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\chrome.exe
- <Full path to file>
