- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'Microsoft System Service' = 'winIogon.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft System Service' = 'winIogon.exe'
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\winIogon.exe' 284 "<Full path to file>"
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\winIogon.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\winIogon.exe
Deletes itself.
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ir#.###er-terror.com':8887
UDP:
- DNS ASK ir#.###er-terror.com
