Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\d5a38e9b5f206c41f8851bf04a251d26.exe
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\d5a38e9b5f206c41f8851bf04a251d26.exe
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%TEMP%\chrome.exe' = '%TEMP%\chrome.exe:*:Enabled:chrome.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%TEMP%\chrome.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempahmed.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%TEMP%\chrome.exe" "chrome.exe" ENABLE
- '<SYSTEM32>\rundll32.exe' <SYSTEM32>\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %APPDATA%\pic.jpg
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Recent\Application Data.lnk
- %TEMP%\chrome.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Recent\pic.lnk
- %APPDATA%\pic.jpg
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Tempahmed.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\d5a38e9b5f206c41f8851bf04a251d26.exe
