- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'WindowsSecurityAgent' = '<SYSTEM32>\rundrv32.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce] 'DllDrv' = '<SYSTEM32>\rundll.lNl'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
Executes the following:
- <SYSTEM32>\ctfmon.exe
Injects code into
the following system processes:
- <SYSTEM32>\ctfmon.exe
Modifies settings of Windows Internet Explorer:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations] 'LowRiskFileTypes' = '.exe;.chm;.kno'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\dllcache\rundll.cmd
- <SYSTEM32>\rundrv32.exe
- %WINDIR%\Help\hlp32.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\init32.dll
- %WINDIR%\system\VIDEO.DRV
- <SYSTEM32>\rundll.lNl
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- %WINDIR%\Help\hlp32.exe
- <SYSTEM32>\rundrv32.exe
