Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\Map.exe' = '%APPDATA%\Map.exe:*:Enabled:Map.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\Map.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\TempServer.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\Map.exe" "Map.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Map.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\TempServer.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ha####rael.ddns.net':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK ha####rael.ddns.net
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
