Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\hello.exe
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
- file extensions
Creates and executes the following:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\hello.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- C:\RECYCLER.exe
- %PROGRAM_FILES%.exe
- C:\<Auxiliary name>.exe
- %WINDIR%.exe
- C:\System Volume Information.exe
- <Auxiliary element>
- C:\hello.exe
- C:\Autorun.inf
- <SYSTEM32>\Spooler.exe
- C:\Far2.exe
- C:\Documents and Settings.exe
- <Current directory>.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\Autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\hello.exe
- <Full path to virus>
- C:\Autorun.inf
