Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\msconfig.exe' = '%APPDATA%\msconfig.exe:*:Enabled:msconfig.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\msconfig.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\msconfig.exe" "msconfig.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%Microsoft\System\Services\18.exe
- %APPDATA%\msconfig.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'localhost':5552

Searches for the following windows:
