Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Winlogon' = '%WINDIR%\winlogon.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Winlogon' = '%WINDIR%\winlogon.exe'
Creates the following files on removable media:
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.inf
- <Drive name for removable media>:\autorun.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%\winhelp32.exe'
- '%WINDIR%\winlogon.exe'
- '%WINDIR%\winhelp32.exe' (downloaded from the Internet)
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\a85.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\2VAZY7AN\VERSION[1].TXT
- %WINDIR%\version.txt
- %WINDIR%\winhelp32.exe
- %WINDIR%\winlogon.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\KHMHGZ4F\default2[1].html
- %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\U98D4X8H\DATA[1]
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
